What is it to be the wife of a Catholic Priest? To live in chastity and obedience.  And somewhat, poverty. My God given professional vocation (Cardiac Nurse) is also a sacrificial service to the sick and sometimes dying.
Lately, I've been drawn to videos produced by sisters/religious congregations. The Little Sisters of the Poor vocations video is so encouraging! I'm drawn to those with visible and more defined vocations.  I feel a certain connection to these women. The only thing lacking in my sacrificial life and gift to God, is lack of community.  So I'm here.  On this forum.  It's pretty simple.  I need to know you are out there. Living a life like I am. Muddling through.  The daily discovery of this strange and somewhat lonely calling.

I'm afraid I can't get into the Shulamite women blog.  Hope you can help!
